1 – You recently had an important visit to Brazil, presented at major clubs such as Vibe and Warung. What do you consider that the Brazilian public is most special?
Brazil has love for the truth of the event of the moment–the ecstasy of being and losing oneself in the self-shattering moment of non-being, which is the becoming of the impersonal one-ness of the event. There is connection and appreciation–between the crowd and the artist. There is mutual gratitude–solace in the oneness of many within the fold of the event of being.
2 – What were the influences of you into music?
The influences are varied and many–and they are always changing. Imagine a robot with a thousand buttons and on each button there is a thousand processors constantly absorbing sonic information as the robot moves through the infinite convex space of the universe, recording every moment and processing it–this would the ultimate image of influence as one moves through time. and yet every computational aggregate must, of course, maintain a convex memory set which remains constant, a set of nostalgic parameters: talking heads, daft punk, pavement, brian eno. these kinds of artists.
3 – The year 2014 will certainly bring new career for the duo, what can you highlight?
in mid april, we are releasing a song called “long neglected words” for a compilation called “the space project”–which asked various artists to make music from sounds recorded within our solar system. we chose to make a song from sounds recorded around io, a moon orbited jupiter. according to ovid’s “metamorphoses,” io was the roman mythological figure raped by jupiter, king of the classical mythological gods, and then transformed into a heifer by hera, jupiter’s jealous consort. eventually io was transformed back into a woman, returning to her father, and speaking words to him for the first time in a vast expanse time.
we are also releasing a three track ep in june for visionquest called “you are being filmed.”
and we have also just finished a podcast for manchester’s parklife series.
4 – What are you passions in life, besides music?
literature, the search for truth, music, beauty in all its forms.

Brazil: you are one of the most magical places on earth. and we wish to return to you every year to join hands and dance. we miss you. always already.
